The efforts of the Bourgas Municipality to control the population of stray dogs gave positive results. In 2016 the newly admitted and registered at the shelter stray dogs are 222. For the same period in the shelter are brought by their owners still 127 dogs.
All animals are neutered, deparasited and vaccinated. 160 of them in the same year were adopted and now have a permanent home.
