In the recent months, sales of holiday homes on the southern coast fell by 30% to 50% over the same period last year. Moreover - in places the current buyers are already sellers.

 

The manager of Bourgas agency "Omega" Diana Ivanova reported 50% fewer transactions. Similar numbers give investors of holiday projects.

"Over the past two months, the market virtually froze" summed manager of a large company that built holiday complexes in Sunny Beach.

According to him, the economic problems of Russia lead to a decline of not only Bulgarian, but also of other holiday markets in Europe, where the major customers are Russian buyers.

Specific reason for the Russian reflux is the devaluation of the ruble, which this year lost more than 30% of its value. The same are also the sanctions of and to Russia, which restrict the travel and hinder the transactions of Russian citizens abroad.
