Shopping maniacs tour the European capitals

January is the best time for a shopping marathon in Europe and is when the greatest sales are found.

“Les Soldes” in France feel like war zones, with people lining up before the shops even open, moving hurriedly between the streets, burdened with heavy bags and fighting until their last breath for the smallest size bra.

This happens two times a year: in the middle of January and in the middle of June. “Las Rebajas” in Spain start on January 7th and continue until February or even until the beginning of March.

Sales in Italy are almost throughout the entire year. There are “Saldi” in Rome and Milan through the winter – January and February, and summer – July and August.

In Great Britain you can find sales at any time and unlike the other European capitals, shops work on Sunday too.
