For 1 million a monument turnes into a residence

The tourist season in Nessebar will start with the official opening of the new multipurpose building, which construction began a year ago on the site of the old town hall. The councilors have allocated 1 million Lev from the budget to build a new building, wich exterior is an exact replica of the holiday house of the Holy Synod, built in 1927.

Later the pompous building was declared as a monument of culture and it has long been exercising the administrative tasks as a town hall of Nessebar.

To be restored to its original form the building was photographed before the demolition. One year ago, on April 30th, started the new construction. Now the building will perform representative functions.
