The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency has identified cases where frozen out-of-date frozen fish, chicken meat with soy protein and preservatives, cheese in the kindergartens and chairs in schools have not been produced under the BDS.

As a result of the checks, more than 24 liters of fresh milk are destined for 155 eggs and over 70 kg of food, of which 13 kg of poultry meat product containing soy protein and preservatives, nearly 1 kg of yellow cheese not produced under the BDS and 850 g of frozen fish with expired shelf life and over 18 kg of biscuits in non-compliance with the regulations.
