Trailer prepare the Russian public for hot images

 

In the trailer for the documentary by Andrei Kondrashov called "Crimea. The road to home" ("Krыm. Path to a Rodinu"), Putin spoke openly about the controversial takeover of Crimea from Moscow. The film made in the state television "Russia-1".

This is the first case when the Russian president reveals details about Moscow's decision to storm the peninsula, which is a part of Ukraine.

The Russian leader told about a meeting on the night of February 23th, 2014 with the heads of the security forces focused on how to save the downloaded Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who fled after the pro-Western street riot in Kiev.

"We finished about seven in the morning. When they parted, I told my colleagues – we have to start work on the return of the Crimea to Russia",said Putin.

Four days after the meeting in February last year, unidentified soldiers occupied the local parliament in Crimea and lawmakers quickly elected a new government.

Then on March 18th, the Ukrainian region was officially annexed by Moscow, which caused a public outcry in the world.

In the trailer, full of dramatic music, sound the words of Putin that Crimea will forever be a part of Russia.

The clip on the TV channel "Russia-1" is not clear when it will be aired the entire film, noting only that it will happen "very soon".
