Modern new beds replaced the old metal bed in Bourgas hospital.
The need for replacement is very serious. The old beds are outdated, heavy and uncomfortable. Some of them are at the hospital more than 30 years.
The first units, which will be retrofitted are these with difficult to move patients. The beds are purchased with own funds of the hospital, and this year the allocation is 46 000 Lev.
All new beds are safe, have side boards that do not allow the patient to fall by accidental reversal. They can withstand weight up to 150 kg, and the special resuscitations beds - up to 300 kg.
10 beds have already arrived in the department of resuscitation. They have automatic control commands both sides with buttons.
